We provide a fun and enjoyable dental office where kids learn to keep their teeth clean and healthy for a lifetime. Our doctor recommends that parents accompany their children into the examination room during this initial visit. This will allow the doctor to review/discuss dental findings, treatment needs and answer any questions the parents /child may have.
If you are accompanying your child into the treatment area during subsequent visits, we suggest that you act as a ‘silent’ observer only. This will facilliate us to establish a rapport and a trusting relationship with your child which is very important not only determining the success of your child’s dental treatment but also for your child to leave with a positive dental experience which can help your child to have a positive outlook in dentistry.
‘No Photography, No Phone, No Recording’ are allowed at Lucky Kids Dental due to patient, doctor, and staff privacy rights without permission.
Here are some tips to help prepare your child for their first visit:
- Expect your child to have a pleasant experience.
- It is best if you can refrain from using words around your child that might cause unnecessary fear and anxiety, such as “needle, pull, drill or hurt.” Our office makes a practice of using words that convey the same message, but are pleasant and non- frightening to the child.
- If your child is suffering from dental pain (toothache, etc.) emergency treatment will be given.
We ask all our parents to feel free to contact our office at 972- 758-8777 during normal business hours to ask any questions. Your child’s doctor or an educated staff member will always be happy to answer any of your questions!
